Employer Resource Corner

Local employers let us know they wanted resources to support their recruiting and retention needs. We discovered that there were many resources already in the community, but that it took time to find these resources – time that busy Human Resources staff don’t always have. In response, we took action to pull all these resources into one convenient location.

The Employer Resource Corner is supported by Ontario’s Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development and is dedicated to being a one-stop website of business supports customized for employers in our area: Waterloo Region, Guelph, Wellington County, and Dufferin County.

On the Employer Resource Corner site you can find:

• ways to connect with job seekers
• labour market information at the local level that will assist with workforce planning efforts
• resources to enhance retention of current employees
• local organizations that offer support to employers
• lists of business incentives

These resources will help small and medium-sized businesses save time searching, and more time growing their businesses.
