We are excited to announce the completion of the Immigrant Workforce Commuting Research for the Guelph-Wellington and Dufferin regions. This research was conducted in collaboration with the Local Immigration Partnership of Guelph- Wellington.
This research, based on intensive analysis of 2021 Census data, immigrant surveys, and interviews, has resulted in the development of two comprehensive reports: one for the Guelph-Wellington and one for Dufferin.
These reports provide an in-depth examination of commuting patterns within the immigrant workforce, highlighting key trends, factors influencing commuting choices, and identifying those leaving the region for work.
With these insights in hand, we’ve created tailored recommendations and best practices to support the region in attracting and retaining this vital talent pool.
