To summarize our CEO Charlene Hofbauer, Each year, we share a message to kick off our Local Labour Market Plan as a way to reflect on what we’re seeing in the data, the broader trends shaping our economy, and what they mean for us locally. While many of today’s challenges—global trade pressures, rising living and housing costs, and rapid advances in AI—are beyond the reach of any one community, we believe we still have a responsibility to shape how we respond. Through collaboration, strong data, and openness to new ideas, we can better understand what’s working, where we need to focus our attention, and how to support workers and industries as they change. As you read this plan, I encourage you to consider where you and your organization fit, and what you can commit to—because we are always stronger together than we are apart.
