The Workforce Planning Board, in partnership with the Guelph-Wellington Local Immigration Partnership and Waterloo Region Immigration Partnership, is excited to share our latest research report which examines immigrants as they pertain to our local labour markets in Waterloo Region, Wellington County and Dufferin County. Specifically, this project provides a review of the changing nature of the local labour markets and what this means for skilled immigrants and the economic challenges and opportunities which lie ahead for our communities. This project aims to provide research and analysis to help local industries, community partners and policy makers make better informed decisions on how best to support and integrate Internationally Trained Professionals who are identified as a key talent pool for employers.
