In EmployerOne 2022, employers told us that a lack of the right soft skills was a major reason that positions were hard-to-fill. To tackle this gap, this project will survey employers in the Construction, Manufacturing and Retail sectors to identify:
Resources will be created for Employment Ontario staff so that they can better support jobseekers through skills programming, and better application packages that reflect these skills.
This is a partnership project between Project READ and the Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin.
