Global Talent Stream adds 3 new occupations to their in demand list

The Government of Canada marked the one-year anniversary of its Global Talent Stream pilot project Tuesday by adding three new Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics occupations to the list of those deemed in-demand by the program.

The three new occupations are Engineering Managers, Architecture and Science Managers and Mathematicians and Statisticians.

At the same time, Electrical and Electronics Technologists and Technicians was removed from the Global Talent Occupations List “due to changing labour market conditions,” the government said in a news release.
