Occupation Snapshot Pages

The 2-page Occupation Snapshot pages listed below were created as part of our “Know Your Jobseeker” project. Each sheet looks at wage data and supply and demand for these jobs within:

  • Dufferin County;
  • Waterloo Region; and
  • Guelph-Wellington County.

Each Occupation Snapshot includes local information on:

  • Median Salary
  • Wage per hour
  • # of people that work in this occupation
  • Demographics
  • Age
  • # of job searchers & apprentices
  • Method of Commute by area

Research for each job was done using NOC codes, which is short for National Occupational Classification. This is Canada’s national system for describing and grouping occupations. There are 10 main occupation categories, with more specific occupations within each. Take a look below to learn more about the occupations we have researched!
